I was reading through them and found it frankly somewhat toe curling to read. So I'll start again. I've got unstarted blogs dotted all over the place, idea's half formed. Make great food with the little we have to choose from. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Papaya Pie tastes a lot like Peach Pie. Make sure the papaya is nicely ripened before cutting it open. Cut papaya in half and remove seeds of 2 medium sized ripe papaya. Peel the outer shell and slice pieces into small squares. In a medium sized saucepan combine:. 1/2 cup of brown sugar. 1/4 cup pure maple syrup. Coat for 10 minutes before heating. Remove from heat and add:. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 tsp ground cloves.
