Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Happy Birthday Ryder Bart and summer updates. I can't believe how fast this year has gone! Ryder has brought so much joy, fun, and love to our lives this year. He is so ornery and into everything, but he is the sweetest little cuddly boy. He gives great kisses and hugs and loves giving that cheesy smile. He has been walking for a couple of weeks, which means a few more bumps and bruises than normal. We can't wait to spend many,many more birthdays with him! Riding on Kyra's pony.

Thursday, June 14, 2012. We have had a busy, but fun summer so far. Kyra went to a week of gymnastics last week and we had a Leman camping trip adventure. We've also been busy getting our new camper ready for all of our camping trips this summer. I never thought I would own a camper, but with 2 kids it is so much easier! We love it so far. We have another trip planned this weekend! Here are some pics of our summer so far. Swinging on the rope. Getting ready for a forward roll. On the balance beam.

Thursday, October 13, 2011. Well, my time at home with the kids is winding down. I go back to work on Wednesday. I'm very sad to be leaving the kids, but I'm ready for the routine! It won't be too bad since I have a 3 day week, then a 4 day week because of Fall Break. Hopefully, that helps me ease back into the routine. We have had fun at home, but I think Kyra is ready to be back to Patty's to play with kids. I don't think I'm as much fun! Getting ready for the Trojan football game. My little Purdue fans.

Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Well, the craziness of Christmas is over! We had a good time celebrating with our families and our house is almost back to normal. The last couple of days have been nice to just relax, play games, and get things organized. We only have a few things we need to return/exchange before heading back to work. Prayer has become difficult the last few weeks, with the trials we have experienced, but prayer is what brings us closer to God and will help me regain the trust that he will be there to answer my prayers. I need and am praying again. We have wonderful friends, family, and church family to help us through. Focusing on the goodness or on positive things gives me peace, need to make that a practice.
