In our lost key situation (last post), I try to make myself feel better about all that money we wasted by looking at these pictures. The day we went back for our car was the most beautiful day. The skies were so clear. As we were driving into Hawi, we could see Maui ahead. It pretty much just looks like the shadow of another mountain. M and Baby S.

Jenna, Gray, and Lucy too! Just a little bit about us. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Last semester Gray had the bright idea of signing up for a gardening class. He thought it would be an easy "a" and a fun class, but I don't think he realized he attended Texas A&M, where AGRICULTURE is in our name. The class was a bit more difficult than he thought, but he learned a lot about gardening! It has payed off big time at our house! Well a few died because of the harsh winter, but overall the plants are doing well!

Jenna, Gray, and Lucy too! Just a little bit about us. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. For Easter, Gray and I went to his grandparents', mogs and pops, house in Houston! Jennifer, Collin, Caden, Caleb, and Cole went too! Caden and his eggs. Caleb and the Ducklings. Gray with his Easter basket.I made him an Awesome basket (but I think his favorite part was the champagne for Mimosas). Really bad picture of me holding our "paint your own Easter wind up toy" This was actually really cool! We got to paint a wind up toy!

Keepin it reals with the McNeils. Friday, January 10, 2014. We had a busy month in November. We squeezed in a trip to the park with these cute babies. We went downtown with the Gohean's for the Christmas parade. I ran my first ever 5K with one of my favorite people. My biggest excitement was getting to go to Chicago kid-free for a long weekend. Keepin it reals with the McNeils. Saturday, April 18, 2015. I read about this wonderful valley, Pololu Valley near Hawi where you can hike down to a beautiful black sand beach. Naturally I HAD to go there. It was perfect weather. The hike was nice.not too strenuous or dangerous. The beach was amazing and very few people were down there. We met up with friends who were going. Read the bottom to find out the end of the story. This is the view from about the halfway point. M and Baby S. World of Kim Craft.

Everything I have posted about our Hawaiian experience has included pictures of amazing things we've seen and fun things we've done. I need to remember our typical weekday too and why this has not been the paradise dream. For every great two day weekend full of pictures, this is the five day week that precedes and follows it. 5:30 - wake up start getting ready. 6:00 - wake up Luc who hates getting up early.
