Tech musings and links. Monday, June 25, 2007. No remote access to Macs for updates? I was looking into getting remote desktop access to some of the Macs I manage. The reason? I wanted something that came with the box, a la Windows Remote Desktop (RDP). I didn't want to install third party products like VNC or pay for anything extra. Voilà, here is the solution:. See how today...

Music, Culture and More! Aka Ramblings of an Urban Hermit). Friday, June 10, 2005. Folklife and new bands! More new bands at Folklife. I saw a couple of excellent groups, both local, both blue-grassy. The first was a tight hippy-bluegrass group from Portland called Cross-eyed Rosie. You can sample their wares at tapers.org. The second was self labeled "world-grass" band Spoonshine. I've been a fan of Bloodshot Records. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Follow me on Twitter.
