Thursday, October 27, 2011. As a quick reminder, I went to Freiburg to visit my friends John and Toby (whom I know from Pomona). As such, I spent much of my time in Freiburg just chilling and hanging out. Anyway, here is the trip in detail:. Monday, November 14, 2011. The Brothers De Winkle. It was also really nice to be in Budapest over the weekend for the first time in a month. I get to enjoy next weekend in Budapest as well before jetting off to the UK over Thanksgiving! In related news - how is it almost Thanksgiving? When did that happen? In completely unrelated news, I am now legal to stay in Hungary for the rest of the semester - I got my residence permit today. November 19, 2011 at 11:26 PM. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. I had some fun adventures last weekend, but unfortunately errands and homework have prevented me from sharing thus far. Monday, October 1, 2012. Her actual birthday is on Tuesday, but, for the sake of having a big fancy party, we chose to do it on Saturday. My parents came down from Moscow to help celebrate her special day. Don't you love her dress? My friend, Becky, made the cookies.adorable, eh? And, my good friend, Kristin, did the cake. We met in a park in Emmett, I brought the food (the mom couldn't bring food due to lack of money), and our caseworker was there as well. Sunday, July 27, 2014. So, the previous occupant of our house was a little old lady named Lela White. She had passed away the year before and her daughter, Georgia Louise inherited the White House and then decided to sell it. We had never met Georgia because she and her husband lived over in the Seattle area. But, she had seemed like such a sweet person in all of our dealings. She mentioned that she would be coming to the Treasure Valley this summer, and would love to come meet us and see the house again.

Sunday, August 31, 2014. Grady and Alex's Rehearsal Dinner. We had the pleasure of hosting my cousin Grady's wedding rehearsal dinner. My parents came down to do the cooking. I got to do the decorating. Grady and Alex met in the Music Dept at NNU. So I tried to incorporate music and a country setting. I love how it turned out. Found this old door in one of our sheds.
