Very near the top of my list of passions are my love of nature and natural things. Along bramble and brier,. He scampers in my mind,. A blink- - stir of tail,. A whisker flicker in the wind. With eyes the color. Of Heaven above,. Set in brown- - brown as. Upturns with his tail,. He had me- - trained. Very, very well. A morning paw in my eye,. A river roaring in my ear,. There goes my Tom- - Sparkplug,. Dancing to chimes in the wind. On the window sill,. Sits lonely- - now. As tiny violet buds appear.
