My on-line training journal AND my outlook on life! Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Despite feeling a little stiff in the legs on Monday after Sunday's run, I was keen to get out there again on Tuesday morning for an easy session. Brisk walk warmup: 5mins. Easy paced run: 23.05mins, 4.24kms, Ave 5.26min/kms. Slow walk cooldown: 5mins. Goes without saying that I was frustrated and disappointed. But as I have after each run lately, I spent a good 10-15mins icing once I got home, as well as plenty of stretching.

Heaps of people and their dogs out and about. I am enjoying just getting out there and trying to find some consistency. I am still at the stage where I am pleased to just go outside. I will not be attempting "distance" or "speed" or anything that remotely puts pressure on me - at least for a little while. How long you in Melbourne for?

Another 25 minute run today! I am coming back to Burswood soon I promise. There is a run in another week or so and I will do that too. I'm busting with confidence at the moment.
