Tales of fruit and cake.: I feel like I'm beind stalked.
http://himynameisjack.blogspot.com/2011/07/i-feel-like-im-beind-stalked.html
Tuesday, July 19, 2011. I feel like I'm beind stalked. I came home from dropping Jack off at camp and I found this little a-hole hanging out at my front door. Great. Deer tick. Just great. This photo was taken about 3 seconds before I grabbed a knife. And cut it in half. I know yoga teaches non-violence (and I'm trying to be non-violent), but eff that! I make an exception for ticks, especially ones that carry Lyme. In The Lyme Fight. Glad to hear you killed that sucker! July 19, 2011 at 2:36 PM.

Tales of fruit and cake.: Don't bother asking me how I'm feeling, it's written all over my dining room table
http://himynameisjack.blogspot.com/2011/07/dont-bother-asking-me-how-im-feeling.html
Monday, July 11, 2011. Don't bother asking me how I'm feeling, it's written all over my dining room table. I don't know if you're like this, but I can gauge my mood by looking at the condition of my dining room table. If there is a bunch of crap piled on the table chances are good I'm cranky, depressed, anxious, or deathly ill. The table is my insect reflection. or something like that. It's practically a physical manifestation of my aura. But here's the coolest part- if it looks like crap, an...Life with...

Tales of fruit and cake.: Normally I like antibiotics
http://himynameisjack.blogspot.com/2011/07/normally-i-like-antibiotics.html
Thursday, July 14, 2011. Normally I like antibiotics. July 14, 2011 at 10:34 PM. Thank you, Shelley. July 15, 2011 at 9:03 AM. In The Lyme Fight. Ditto what Shelley said! The disease has evolved quite a bit in the last 20 years and it takes more like 6-8 weeks of treatment instead. I would hate for you to go chronic! It is NO FUN! Good luck with everything! Confessions of the Carlsons: Wishing Star Farm
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010/07/wishing-star-farm.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Sunday, June 6, 2010. The animal fun continued in Colorado with a visit to Wishing Star Farm. She loved every second of it, except for the barrel train ride that made her cry hysterically which in turn made me sprint after the train to rescue my baby. But despite the tears from her first ever "solo ride", we had a fabulous morning! Cadence had a little lamb. Cadence still had plenty of love for the sheep despite the attempted trampling. Hopping like a bunny - she's a blur!

Confessions of the Carlsons: March 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Thursday, March 18, 2010. Just call her "Doc". Says ten thousand hours of practice are needed to become an expert. Well, Cadence is well on her way to becoming an expert in the medical field. I'm pretty sure my child has found her calling in life. She may only be 2, but its never too early to start practicing. She started on dummies. And quickly moved on to live test subjects. She certainly has the compassionate expression. And the maniacal passion. Sunday, March 14, 2010.

Confessions of the Carlsons: September 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Monday, September 13, 2010. Yes, we are still alive and indeed are still connected to the world via the interweb. More so than ever in fact, since we upgraded to iPhones. About a week ago. Lots has happened in the last 2 months (a return from a deployment followed immediately by a move to a new state and all the fun that accompanies those activities) and I hope to retroactively update the blog, but in the meantime I'm picking up.right now. And there is sweet tea everywhere!

Confessions of the Carlsons. Saturday, June 5, 2010. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is one of the first places we headed to in Colorado. The giraffes are still the main attraction,. But other highlights included the pony ride,. Petting zoo, gorillas, face painting, sky ride,. And a "first" this time - the Budgie Buddies exhibit! Lunch in the new, upscale cafeteria was just the icing on the cake of a wonderful day - DELICIOUS! June 30, 2010 at 11:28 PM. Looks like a beautiful zoo! July 1, 2010 at 1:43 PM.

Confessions of the Carlsons: July 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Two and a half. Checking in with our favorite two and a half year old:. Loves to jump and "balance". Near obsessed with Dora and Diego (who she still thinks is cute). Very concerned with how others are feeling - often asks mommy "how you doin'? Not quite the same inflection as Joey from Friends, but the same phrase none the less) and "are you sad? Sounds cute, but actually gets quite annoying when your 2 year old is constantly asking you if you're sad).

Confessions of the Carlsons: January 2010
http://confessionsofthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Confessions of the Carlsons. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Nothing takes your mind off a deployed husband/daddy like a toddler invasion! The morning after Kevin left, we hosted playgroup and it was so nice to be in the company of friends. Coffee, mini-muffins, slide, piano, rice table and conversation made for a pretty good morning. Friday, January 29, 2010. It feels like just yesterday I wrote a post like this one. Oh yeah, because I DID. Only a year ago! To Qatar with stops in Germany and Italy on the way&...
