Big news from the Johnsons. We're expecting a baby! And not only that but it's a BOY! He already has our hearts but will be in our arms this August. We could not be more excited! What I Wish I Were Wearing Wednesday. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Saturday is Mitchell and my engagement party (exciting! And this is what I wish I wearing. I love the light coral of the skirt and the anthropology sandals go perfectly! And I know I have used this watch on past Wednesday outfits but this one is in rose gold and is very high up on my wish list right now! What I will actually be wearing Saturday has not actually been decided, are there rules to what one wears to her own engagement party?

Surprising everyone, even ourselves. February 17, 2011. The many months of Beckett. Posted by teamfisher under Kiddo. So… I’m not as good at this blog-thing as I’d hoped. Somehow the tyranny of the urgent always gets in the way. Rather than picking up all the stuffed animals off the floor, shelving the books, sweeping the kitchen, loading the dishwasher, putting away the clothes, shushing Paxon as he sings to himself, relocating the piles on the table or exercising (! I’m choosing to write. Now. I’...

Live a Life Worth Writing Down. Living and Writing by Elsa Johnson. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Wrapping up the Holidays with a Surpirse Trip to Chicago. Even around Christmastime, nature is still so accessible here. Here we are at one of our favorite parks in the area, Burfoot park. With only a ten minute hike, you end up down by one of the Puget Sound inlets. The moss has taken over, everywhere. There's even ferns and other plants growing through and on top of the moss. I was there too! While I recreat...

Live a Life Worth Writing Down. Living and Writing by Elsa Johnson. Friday, November 21, 2014. For now, it's fun to see family and friends in the area and get reacquainted with Washington and Oregon. But to go back a bit into our journey out here (I'll do another post soon on the time between and August and now). Matt left back in August so we had great time with special friends before he left. Here was our last hang out time with Janine, Aaron and Zeke. Lucia is trying to put her arm around Zeke. On the...
