Tuesday, January 30, 2007. A few things I realize after my run yesterday. 1 It doesn't take nearly as long to get out of shape as it did to get INTO shape. 2 20 degrees is coooold, no matter how many layers you put on. 3 The wind sucks! Thursday, November 30, 2006. GIVING, GIVING, AND MORE GIVING. Last night on 20/20 they were doing a report on donations and the effect it has on a person. I have to tell you I couldn't agree with them more. Giving just makes you feel good. The great thing is you get to help someone else too. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Just saying that word suddenly makes me feel better. Last night I had a really, I mean really cleansing run. I did a slow 6 miles with my daughter and by the time I got back home I felt like a new person. Clarity, Webster says:. Sometimes ya gotta just pick a direction and go…. OK… so it’s been 5 years since I updated this so I guess I should freshen up a bit…. I am an old, fat runner who is desperately trying to fight back the tide of time and middle aged spread by staying active and pretending I know what the heck I’m doing with my fitness.
