Becoming Mrs. Strong. Because I am truly, madly, deeply, head over heels in love with him. Date Night In A Jar. I’m so glad you stopped by! I love DIY projects, am a huge food lover and recent convert to the gluten-free life (due to allergies…) so many of my recipes will be gluten-free, but feel free to switch them for non-gluten-free ingredients…most of the time that’s what I’m doing just the other way around! So hang around for a little bit and check out what’s new! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Becoming Mrs. Thomas Dean Jr.
Becoming Mrs. Thomas Dean Jr. Monday, January 14, 2013. A week or so ago, I decided to google my name. Seeing as I don't light it up from behind the arc night after night and I don't stand behind the presidential seal on a daily basis, I really didn't expect to find anything on the first page of google. What I did find surprised me - an obituary. An obituary for Shirley Dean. NOPE, not my own.but I do share a first and last name with this person, and we both are from West Michigan. WEIRD. SoI guess I hav...

Becoming Mrs. Van Nuys
Becoming Mrs. Van Nuys. From Mrs. to Mama. Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Mammary Hypoplasia: My Milkless Journey of Breastfeeding. Felix with his bottle at.hmm 6 months old? Its hard to tell, they really do grow so fast! Every Mom or Mommy-to-Be I've ever met has had the desire to breastfeed. Yes, there are the few who are a little weirded out by the thought of breastfeeding - but I find that that usually changes by the time they actually get pregnant or they are pushed into a breastfeeding class by their OB.

Just another WordPress.com site. Recovering from a running injury. What I have learned over the last month and a half is that running injuries are hard to come back from. This has everything to do with the fact that you want to continue doing the same activity that hurt you in the first place. That’s hard, because running injuries are commonly from overuse. I’m back to the pool today to. Swim a 1/2 mile. Sucks. This entry was posted on April 27, 2012. Leave a comment. What I learned from my foot injury.

Thursday, October 27, 2016. A Pretty Green Quilt. So as I mentioned previously, one of my good friends also got married in 2015. Instead of freezing January, they were a bit more sensible and chose October :P. So I decided as their wedding gift I'd make them a quilt. I went to handy Pinterest to find some inspiration and this is what I found. I'm not sure that I can make sense of these plans now! I am just so in love with this quilt. Monday, January 12, 2015. Stress. One little word. 6 little letters. Yet, to me, that little word, caused so much damage to my life. Things were going relatively swimmingly last year, and then stress started creeping in. I still persevered, and though I gained weight, I was still eating well and living well. Traded my size 6s for size 8s. Size 8s are gone too. This year I'm turning 30, I've got 30 pounds to lose, and I'm ready to begin running 30 miles a week again. 2 cups black beans. 2 cups pinto beans.
