Jordan . Laura . Lucy. Monday, September 23, 2013. After a couple of days in Portland, we hopped back in the car and finished the drive to Vancouver. I love going to visit my family there. We always stay with my grandparents. My Grandpa Ursaki is the cutest. He loves babies. He called Charlie, "Rusty". Grandma loved the kids too. Adam is Charlie's second cousin. They are just two months apart. Charlie's first time on a swing. The scenery along the Sea to Sky Highway is some of the prettiest I've ever seen.

Jordan . Laura . Lucy. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. This year Valentine's day switched from being about me and Jordan to being about the kids. Lucy is old enough now that she gets excited for holidays, and so it was fun to celebrate with her. The night before we made some sugar cookies as a family. He also got me a pretty bouquet of flowers and some Lindor Lindt truffles. Peter Pan finally came out of the Disney vault, so we surprised Lucy with it. Monday, February 4, 2013. Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Um, hello giraffes! So we touch down in Nairobi, pass through customs, drive across town and show up to Giraffe Manor with average expectations. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I've been bugging Patrick for a few weeks about taking me on a date. Like a real "pick you up at 6, wear something cute" type date. I'm tired of being in charge of planning EVERYTHING. (Minus picking where we eat, he always gets to pick where we eat). Thursday, January 3, 2013. We made it through with the kids staying healthy which was a huge plus after last Christmas' horribleness. I had a cold when I got there and the stomach flu the day before we left. What can you expect though from the pregnant lady. I get EVERYTHING. I swear I have a sign that says "my immune system sucks so breathe on me I want to get sick! A bunch of crazies. It actually got above the negatives for once. We had to get some serious sledding in.
