Yeast: White Labs WLP028 Edinburgh Ale. Mashed 60 min @ 154, 1 qt/lb. Look - Dark Red, Brilliantly Clear. Aroma - Sweet Caramel, Touch of Toffee, No Noticeable Esters. Once again we found ourselves with a lot of spent grain after a brew day and once again it seemed like a waste to throw it away. These muffins were totally improvised with ingredients we had around the house, but they turned out great. They are also very low in sugar and fat as far as muffins go (and just in general), so you can feel good about enjoying one with a homebrew or two. 1 cup spent grain.
