His sister and brother in law, Jaime and Jon, also live in Florida, so we decided to combine the opportunities to see them into one trip! We flew into Orlando to visit Jaime and Jon in their beautiful new home in Leesburg and then drove north to see family and the beach! Our boy is finally one year old! He ate a whole entire slice. We had the normal sugar rush craziness at the end but I turned them out to the playground like wild horses to pasture. We celebrated the whole day with Valentine cards and books and the dozen red roses delivered from Jeremiah in the afternoon. How fun to see all the little girls' faces when I read the card out loud. Monday, August 26, 2013. New (School) Year, New School, and Lunch Picnic Dates. This year Garrett moved from a school we have been at since he was almost two, to a totally brand new school. To say he was nervous was an understatement. He was white as a sheet! Poor guy, but he did fantastic! Picked him up that afternoon, and asked "How was school? Good" "Oh, and you didn't pack a snack, just remember to do it tomorrow.". Later I asked what his favorite part of the day was, and shockingly it was recess.
