Saturday, June 12, 2010. Four more days till I go home.I guess it's home.This place feels more like home in someways. Life in Thailand is not. Complicated, it's slower, it's simpler, it's real. Life here is real in the sense that people see the reality of suffering or pain. Back home. pain is a lot easier to cover up or masked because we have more.We have cell phones, ipods, T.V's, cars, our very own. As I prepare to go back to the States, I am feeling even more confident in where God is leading me. ...

Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Far from the loving healing hand of Jesus Christ! I invite you to follow along with me in this journey. Let me just share how this whole opportunity got started. Commited to serve for 4 months, from February 2010-June 2010. Just two weeks ago however, I received an email from the Headquarters of WMF and instead of serving from Feb-June, they offered me a 6 month Intern Staff position from December 2009-June 2010. I was. Tuesday, February 2, 2010. 8220;Ignorance is bliss.". Just think about that statement for a moment…I know we have all heard this saying or even used it at some point. And on some level “ignorance. Bliss”…it’s relieving not having to face the reality of certain things in life.not having worries is such a relief! But I was thinking about this and how is applies to my life and the lives of other believers. As I was reflecting about this statement, it actually contradicts they way we are called to live.
