The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch). Well, yes. It certainly has been an inexcusably long time since I have had an opportunity to play with this blog. I'm not going to try justify it, but as as partial explanation, there is now another Osborne, Jasper William (born 6-Apr-07) - anyone following our other (also sadly neglected) blog. Already knows this, of course. Anyway, the reason that I'm back is because my wonderful wife gave me " 100 Belgian Beers to Try Before You Die. This is a...

The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch): Visitors' Book and Guest Reviewers

http://www.belgianbeerspot.blogspot.com/2005/10/visitors-book-and-guest-reviewers.html

The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch). Visitors' Book and Guest Reviewers. This is a spot dedicated to friends and family who come to visit us here in Belgium and share the joys of Belgian beer with us. It is hoped that they will use this space to document their favourite (and least-favourite) beers, and help us be better hosts to future visitors. Note: THIS IS NOT A BELGIAN BEER - I've put it here so Shane can explain why he was drinking it when he writes his guest review! Fruity or ...

The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch). Our Favourite Belgian Beers So Far. This post will become a brief summary of some of our favourites (if we don't agree, then we'll try to clarify whether it is a Jeannie or a Jamie favourite.) You can be fairly sure that the beer fridge and/or cellar will contain some of these for your visit. To see more about the actual beer, you should go to the appropriate section by clicking on the link. St Feuillien Triple (Jamie). Yes please, Yum! I am star...

The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch): Blonde Ales

http://www.belgianbeerspot.blogspot.com/2005/10/blonde-ales.html

The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch). Having grown up in a country that doesn't really "do" ales, I used to think that a "blonde" was just another kind of lager, so didn't really comprehend how every blonde I tried could taste so different from the others, nor how so many could be so "interesting". If you're still not satisfied, go Googling for more.). All I am going to say in this forum is that:. There are some bloody. Nice blondes here in Belgium. This category has now been broken ...

The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch): Welcome!

http://www.belgianbeerspot.blogspot.com/2005/10/welcome.html

The Belgian Beer Spot (A.K.A The OS-borne Down the 'atch). Welcome to Jeannie and Jamie's Belgian beer blog. This is a fun blog. We set it up to share with friends and family back home in Australia and around the world, our personal experiences with the astonishing array of beer that we've been encountering since we moved to Belgium. But everyone is welcome to join in of course.). Note that these categories are loosely based on Tim Webb's excellent book. We hope you share the joy we're finding in the Bel...

Plugger's Tales from Beyond: October 2009

http://plugger-home-and-away.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Plugger's Tales from Beyond. Tales from my travels (including my old emails), my life as an Aussie ex-pat in London and back in Perth again, and random musings when noone else will listen to me (which is most of the time). Thursday, 22 October 2009. OK, so it's been a while since I checked in to update my progress. About four weeks in fact. One thing I've noticed about the running is that it all seems to depend on how fast you start out. It seems inevitable that I am going to be knackered and draggin...

Tales from my travels (including my old emails), my life as an Aussie ex-pat in London and back in Perth again, and random musings when noone else will listen to me (which is most of the time). Thursday, 29 January 2009. At first I thought that, tonight, after walking through my new fitness programme, I'd be regaling. You all with tales of my new regime - favourite bits, new challenges and new goals. But I can't. Why? Here it is, it takes about two and a half hours in total:.

Tuesday, 8 December 2009. Bucks Party in Tokyo. So there he was. It was 7am, the day before the biggest day of his life, and he was wandering around Shinjuku Train Station in. the OS-borne dispatch: February 2005

http://jeanniejamie.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 18, 2005. Snaps around Brae, Ireland. Brae (or Bray if you prefer the anglicised version) is a lovely town just to the south of Dublin - a town that very nearly became our home! I was offered a very interesting job with Valista. Down that way, but in the end, the Belgium offer won out. On Feb 18, I had a meeting with Valista to discuss the finer details of the opportunity. It was a beautiful day so Jeannie tagged along and wandered around to get a feel for our potential future home.

Thursday, 27 August 2009. I'm sure it's on its way. In short, I couldnt. I walked in to work, and it didn't take long on that walk for me to be hobbling noticably. By the end of my walk to the bus it was almost pantomime. This afternoon we had a fire drill. Try and hop on your bad leg".
