After watching the news, our damage seems like nothing compared to those in Alabama. We are thankful God spared us from major tornadoes that night. I have never experienced a storm like this in my life! I had visions of tiny Kate being stripped from my arms and sucked out the closet door! Thankfully, that was the worst of our storms! The deck was covered!

We decided to do it super small since she really doesn't care yet and we had just done Braden's party two weeks before. I think next year we will combine! Parties are a lot of work, but so worth it! It turned out to be a few inches which caused quite a mess around town. Luckily Ben was off and we made it home from co-op with little trouble. The roads had not been treated so the snow just stuck! Celebrating life and all it's cracked up to be. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Jumping right back into it. The seals were basking in the sun. They are hard to spot also. Sorry! This poor little trooper got pooped out and fell asleep on the boat. She just goes with the flow and missed a lot of naps in the afternoons, so sometimes she just fell asleep wherever she was. I think the humming and rocking of the boat helped out here a little. She slept almost the whole boat ride. This little lobster was a keeper.

Sunday, December 31, 2017. This cutie pie turned 3 years old on December 6th! I think this picture captures her sweet personality and gorgeous deep blue eyes. April is such an easygoing, fun loving, laid back kid. She definitely has Ben's personality, but she can really be wacky sometimes like me. Around the same time as her birthday, April got her first haircut! She did really well. Her curls are even springier and cuter than before. We love April so much and we are so happy she is a part of our family.

In case our computer crashes or it somehow gets deleted, this video must be saved for all time! It's the moment the big kids met their baby sister. What a sweet memory! April 11, 2014. We also got to see a helicopter take off. It was huge and made it very windy for 10 minutes while we waited to watch it.
