http://avalonandrichardmarsh.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Stuck in the Marsh. Sunday, October 28, 2012. This too shall pass. In my bedroom, I have this canvas with these words on them: This too Shall Pass. I know a lot of people use this in a way to say that trials will be overcome but also, less often, it can be used to mean that moments or precious experiences will not last forever. I have used it both ways for sure. That is why at the bottom of the canvas I made sure I had the words: be present. I thought about it as we struggled to have children. I looked a...

Stuck in the Marsh: December 2010
http://avalonandrichardmarsh.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Stuck in the Marsh. Friday, December 31, 2010. Not sure if you have heard of this. Concept or not. I just heard about it today, but have actually been thinking about it for much longer. What is my word going to be for 2011? As I reflect on all that has happened in 2010, I have to wonder if I was up to the growth? Did I take the challenges and learn from them? Did I learn what I was supposed to? And luckily, I live with my constant reminder. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://avalonandrichardmarsh.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Stuck in the Marsh. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. So I went after she had gone to bed, walked in and told them I was donating. No backing out. They had to divide my hair into two ponytails because it was too thick to cut just one. So they chopped it off and I felt about 10 lbs lighter afterward. I mailed my two, 10 inch pony tails off to the Pantene. Wig program. And done. And don't mind the somewhat scary pictures! Friday, February 8, 2013. Four and Five Months. Weight: 15.6 lbs. Laughing at her parents.
