Today Bennett and Mommy ventured over to TCH for a routine checkup, making sure any underlying issues are not popping up, it was quick and easy!

Tuesday, February 23, 2016. Update on Little Man. Wanted to give everyone a quick update on Bennett…we spoke with his nuerologist and she agrees that additional monitoring of his petit mal seizures is in order, so we will be having a 48 our EEG at TCH March 14. 8230;that will be all kinds of fun… :/ his will be hooked up to electrodes the whole time and I will have to sit there with him and press a button everytime he has a seizure. Nice way to spend our Spring Break…. Our next MRI is set for the 31.

Sunday, February 22, 2015. Bennetts Post Radiation Disney Trip. Saturday (2.21.15):. We had a successful travel day! His frost plane ride was ok, no tears, he just insisted on holding Mommy's hand the whole time. The entire plane applauded him for beating a Cancer superhero, and the flight attendants have him a bag of goodies! I don't know who is more excited about this trip, him or us. Lol! The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. Our balcony overlooks the giraffes and zebras! Will post pics from each day as we go!

Monday, March 14, 2016. So far no seizures to report. He's handled it all so well. :). Final Results are in, they couldn't detect any sizable seizures while he was in patient, so for now, we wait and monitor. Location: Texas Medical Center Houston. Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Monday, May 30, 2016. March 31, 2016 MRI. Today Mommy, Daddy and Bennett all ventured over to Tch West Campus for Bennett's Routine MRI to check on the progress of the tumor. Little man was all smiles and hugs, as usual. The results came back that the tumor is stable! BRIEF HISTORY OF BENNETT NESTER. Bennett Randall Nester was born in Houston, Texas at Texas Women's Hospital. Diagnosed through MRI with a Pineal Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma causing hydrocephalus on his brain. Brain Cancer was diagnosed. Bennett began a 15 Month Cycle of Chemotherapy- Carboplatin and Vincristine and Vinblastine. Partial Resection of Tumor. 6 Weeks of Proton Radiation at MD Anderson.
