Wendy Woo Cakes: July 2009
http://wendywoocakes.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Jul 12, 2009. We did do some fun things, like visit Kennedy Space Center on the 4th of July and pet baby alligators after an exciting airboat ride through the Everglades. We saw 6 alligators while out on the boat, one of them, a huge alligator about 10 feet long swam right up to the boat where my mom was. It was a little frightening, but very fun. We had a wonderful time, talking and playing with fondant. It was the most fun I have had making a cake. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chandler, AZ, United States.

Jan 17, 2010. I have had so much fun this week building and baking my tallest cake yet. The cake stood over 3 feet high! I met with Mark an Mila a few months ago and we instantly became great friends. I have enjoyed getting to know them and spending time with Mila. She even asked me to be her wedding planner. So this week I have been baking and planning for the wedding all at the same time. Congratulations Mark and Mila! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chandler, AZ, United States. View my complete profile.

Jul 23, 2012. This cake is one of my favorites and I am so excited to share it with you! It was a pleasure to meet with the bride, her mother and Alexandra Calvet from CCH Weddings. I immediately loved the design the bride had chosen, because it was bold and unique. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents and it was gorgeous! Photography by Brewer Photo&Video. The photo's below are taken by me:). So, what do you think? I can't wait to see pictures of the rest of the wedding! Simple temp...

Wendy Woo Cakes: Video Games, Beer and Football...
http://wendywoocakes.blogspot.com/2012/07/video-games-beer-and-football.html
Jul 23, 2012. Video Games, Beer and Football. I will admit that carved, over the top cakes are my favorite. I love a challenge, so I couldn't wait to take on the challenge of making edible beer bottles and XBOX controllers. The beer bottles are made of rice crispy treats and covered in modeling chocolate. Yum! The football and the controller are also made or rice crispy treats and the ice cubes are sugar. So that leaves the XBOX 360 and the bucket, yummy, delicious cake! Maybe a plate of buffalo wings?

Oct 11, 2009. Saturday was a wonderful day! My daughter Sarah, turned 3! She had decided for her birthday that she wanted a Candy Land and Queen Frostine Party. So, of course I went completely overboard and threw the most extravagant Candy Land party I could come up with. We set up the backyard to look like Candy Land, with a multi-colored path winding around the yard. Sarah and friends chill'n in Gumdrop Pass. At the end of the path, they arrived at Candy Castle! Playing games in Candy Land! Oct 7, 2009.

Wendy Woo Cakes: September 2009
http://wendywoocakes.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Sep 25, 2009. I remember as a young girl, going with my grandma to a wonderous place called C. Kay Cummings Candies, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked for Kay Cummings out of her home and made beautiful tiny icing decorations. She would make thousands of them, then package them up and off we would go to the chocolate shop. Still now the cake tops are my favorite part of the cake. Https:/ www.finecandies.com/index.php. Figures, the man on the cake hardly resembles Paul Pierce. Figures are not my forte'&...

Wendy Woo Cakes: August 2009
http://wendywoocakes.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Aug 27, 2009. Sleeping Beauty and Friends. Sleeping Beauty is one of my very favorite Disney movies. Even as a young child I loved Sleeping Beauty and my favorite part was when she dances with the owl dressed up in the princes boots and cape. So when I was asked to do a Sleeping Beauty cake I instantly thought of the owl! I made this cake for a darling little 4 year old girl who looks just like Sleeping Beauty! All of the forest creatures and the tree stump are made of fondant. Aug 15, 2009. Aug 9, 2009.
