Twila's Threads: Nephews and Nieces with Graduation Quilts
http://twilagrace.blogspot.com/2011/11/nephews-and-nieces-with-graduation.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Nephews and Nieces with Graduation Quilts. My nephews and nieces conspired to bring to the Thanksgiving gathering the quilts that I made for them when they graduated from high school and went to college. But one person, I will not name, came to the family gathering without the quilt! So there are five nefs/nieces and four quilts as you may notice! Here we are all together; my absolutely beautiful and cherished nefs/nieces. Do you keep a journal/record of your quilts?

http://twilagrace.blogspot.com/2013/09/sketch-of-other-adirondack-chair.html
Sunday, September 29, 2013. Sketch of the Other Adirondack Chair. As I sat on one of the Adirondack chairs in my backyard, I sketched, in ink, the other one that was facing away from me. It looks a bit wonky but I. It I have not been doing as much sewing lately, but have put the ink to the paper, or the paint to the paper. Missed you at retreat. I have photos of the log building from the last one. I should send to you. Hopefully you can come to the next one in March. Cheers, El. View my complete profile.

Twila's Threads: Oak Leaf Watercolor
http://twilagrace.blogspot.com/2013/11/oak-leaf-watercolor.html
Wednesday, November 13, 2013. While on an evening walk recently I passed through a section of sidewalk with lots of these beautiful, dark red oak leaves. By the time I got home with this one leaf and started painting it, the edges had started to curl, making nice shadows. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rockville, MD, United States.
