Jetted off for some winter waves in Morocco recently. Such an amazing culture and some super fun rights! Let's just say driving was a bit crazy though - donkeys and camels on the road everywhere you looked and goats in trees! Mint tea is actually epic though and it was great to chat french again!

Sunday, 12 January 2014. First time in the water 2014. So after nailing myself at la graviere whilst living in Hossegor and being helicoptered off to Bayonne hospital back in July last year, a nasty car smash in November and 3 stints in hospital, I was literally an emotional wreck and feeling so blessed when I ventured into the water for the first time in 6 months on the 8th of January 2014! Thursday, 18 June 2015. Sri Lanka so far. It's been 3 days so far and I've taken 2 flights, a van ride, a train ride and several Tuk Tuks to get me to the amazing places I have been and experienced. The Sri Lankans I have met along the way so far are kind and spiritual. First stop was Kandy. A city full of hustle and bustle with vibrant colours and characters. Wednesday, 14 May 2014. It's been a while since I posted about my recovery and I'm so delighted to say I have been back in the water a few more times now catching waves on the long board and just cruising. I decides to pull out the old faithful "pinky" and she hasn't been letting me down. I've been eating healthy and training hard - each day consists of my stretching programme and either a 2 hour gym session or a 50 length swim. Work mixed in between of course and the surfs!
