Alexander," the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Movie. Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! I still haven’t seen any Firefly but I may go see Serenity when it comes out. I’m guessing Ryan. May get that DVD set before too long; we’ll have to wait and see if I could borrow. Anonymous (Is that you, Kristen Nicole. Thanks for the update. Nic. S good health one more thing to be thankful for. Any idea what it was? Thankfully, it was light on the side of language. I don’t recall hearing a single swear word...

Okay, so the big chunk of the week has passed; the first round of speeches is over in Public Communication, and I've survived my first two quizzes. The history test went great; it was all stuff I knew, and if I did anything wrong, I may have put too much into the short written answers (I squeezed out three paragraphs on the Epic of Gilgamesh. When we were probably only supposed to do one), but I made sure my writing wasn't too tiny to read. So I'm pretty sure things went really well. Woohoo. Okay, tomorr...

There is nothing on this earth more prized than true friendship.". S brother John Kartzinel. For posting the quotation). I was completely ready to be shut down, going to bed, and planning to post tomorrow, but at 2:20 am, ready to sleep and returning from the bathroom, I was interrupted by a ringing cell phone. My cell phone, which was recharging, happened unfortunately to be under the stack of the new issues of the Cardinal and Cream. I was greeted with a reference to this homestarrunner.com cartoon.

Finally, the Tyler Whetstone Photo Project. Has been updated with pictures from our 4th of July Family Reunion! Posted by Tyler at 9:37 PM. The Fifth Elephant: A Novel of Discworld. I'm ready to get back to school. No offense to home. I love being with my family, my job is good, and I feel a little bit bad about my dog missing me when I'm gone, so I like being here. But I am seriously ready to get back to school. I got a call from a roommate today! Posted by Tyler at 8:24 PM. Random Quote of the Day.

Back from Bangkok and Blogging. Mom: Aww, you're welcome. And I'm glad Mimi thinks I did something really cool. ;-). Kristen: Ah, thanks. I knew that sounded familiar. Well, I thought about going to the free concert Sanctus Real was giving at Lambuth tonight, but I didn't have a definite ride as of this afternoon, so rather than trouble somebody, I figured it would probably be better to stay home and rest anyway (I got a lot of sleep yesterday, but I'm still pretty tired). Yay for staying in. Well, with ...

A Post from Home. Phantom of the Opera. By Andrew Lloyd Webber, Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman. How the Irish Saved Civilization. After one year of college, I have returned home! I have to say, I missed being home. I missed my family, and I missed the pets. And there are very nice things about this summer. I am no longer a lowly freshman, for example. There's a problem in that, though. If I'm no longer a lowly freshman, then that means one-fourth of college is OVER already! Wow I just scared myself.

And this is one of those hard sentences that just feels really weird to write. One of my friends is in a coma. Apparently, Barry Fowler (freshman sports management major from here in Jackson) has been having seizures, and, as of this afternoon, was in Intensive Care at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He's since slipped into a coma. I'm not entirely sure if anyone knows what caused the seizures. Everybody here would really appreciate prayer for Barry. Posted by Tyler at 2:17 AM. Normally, I d...

So I Have This Habit. The X-Files - The Complete First Season. So, as I write this, I'm sitting up in the DMS lab for no apparent reason, just hanging out with Patrick. As he downloads some sutff before getting to work on a project for a theatre event tomorrow evening. Alaina. Is here too. It's a good time. Okay, I apologize for going a while without posting. Things have been a little hectic, so here's the wrap-up. A Battle of Dimwits. If that helps clarify. The last Cardinal and Cream. As editor-in-chie...

The Tyler Whetstone Photo Project. New pictures feature the Cardinal Ball and the first round of pics from Thailand (the ones that fit on my digital camera's memory). Posted by Tyler at 10:16 PM. Alas, I have run out of "Pocky". Once Upon a Shattered Life. By Seventh Day Slumber. Today, I ate the scattered remnants of the boxes of Pocky I brought home from Thailand. This is rather unfortunate, for as good as it was, I'm now left without any Pocky. ANYWAY, onto bigger and better matters. This semester is ...
