Life on the wand. Observations from my work, travel, and family experiences. Friday, September 24, 2004. The one I bought in the US, installed just recently, and used for the first time tonight! I have all the parts! Only, how do I keep that from happening again? Hmm, looking at the picture of the book cover on the previous post, I would have to assume that the probability of God must be mighty small. Posted by Stephen @ 4:57 PM. Sunday, September 19, 2004. My first book review! Friday, September 17, 2004.

Life on the wand. Observations from my work, travel, and family experiences. Saturday, January 31, 2004. What a difference this trip has been. When I arrived at Heathrow, I wasn't selected for a special security check, and there was no queue for the ticket agents! There was no problem with my ticket or my luggage, and no delays going through the security screening for my carry-on bag. I had a row of five seats all to myself on the flight to Chicago. I had a nice nap on the plane. Our family home page.

Life on the wand. Observations from my work, travel, and family experiences. Sunday, February 15, 2004. We went to Bath yesterday and I had a nice time imagining Romans building and using the place, plus some of the history before and after the Roman era in Britain. It is interesting to think about places of worship built prior to Christ. Reading the prayers written by the Roman Brits to Sulis-Minerva was thought provoking: did God hear these pre-Christian era prayers? Posted by Stephen @ 7:55 AM.

Life on the wand. Observations from my work, travel, and family experiences. Saturday, March 06, 2010. Plumbing and bathroom remodel. The area I had the most soldering trouble with is shown in this picture. Getting the water out of the pipes as tough, and then it turned out that one or two of joints leaked, so I had to take it apart at the floor and try again. That part of the project was completed back in January, though. Posted by Stephen @ 7:18 PM. Comments: Post a Comment. Our family home page.
