Chronicles of the collegiate cyclists. Just another WordPress.com site. Just to put it into perspective (7/15). It’s-It (7/18) →. July 17, 2010. In similar suit of queens and kings, we slept in this morning and enjoyed the plushy feeling of a mattress beneath our tired muscles. After packing up and checking out of our lovely one-night residence in San Fran, we rode to Chinatown for a coffee at the very popular Caffe Trieste (it took 20 minutes just to order! Meet the mules | chronicles of the collegiate cyclists

https://bicyclingfuns.wordpress.com/2010/06/22/meet-the-mules

Chronicles of the collegiate cyclists. Just another WordPress.com site. Into the wild blue yonder…. Don’t just season it…SPIKE it! June 22, 2010. Or by mules, we mean bicycles from the 70s that are hauling 40 pounds more than their regular capacity. None of that titanium, lightweight business for us! Among the many pounds on these mules is a tent, sleeping bags and cushions, a couple changes of clothes, food, soap, and the obvious…good literature. We resemble Sherpas, minus the experience. Address never ...

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Saturday, October 30, 2010. Fall 2010: Missing Russia. In case anyone is still checking in on my blog, I’m keeping you on your toes…I haven’t written since June. Now, though, as I sit by the heater in my new apartment in Seattle and look out at the rain and colorful trees, I ‘m motivated to write. October 31, 2010 at 3:03 PM. Mirror in the Sky, What is Love?: Today is Heather-Day

http://heathersibet.blogspot.com/2010/04/today-is-heather-day.html

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Because I have a sinus infection, and it’s my easy-work day. And, any excuse is fine with me to relax a little. So this is what I’ve done with it so far. 1 Made leftover-oatmeal pancakes with blueberry yogurt, cinnamon, and brown sugar topping. 2 Looked at every single tagged photo of myself on facebook, while listening to all the Beach Boys I own. 3 Showered, and didn’t put on make-up. 4 Got dressed to go outside. Put a load of laundry in. My Rec...

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love?: Season in the Serengeti

http://heathersibet.blogspot.com/2012/09/season-in-serengeti.html

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Sunday, September 9, 2012. Season in the Serengeti. So, I'm moving to Tanzania next month. October 15th. I'll be the volunteer coordinator for an orphanage, working for the Tanzanian Children's Fund. For two years. Volunteering in orphanages in Russia, coordinating volunteers for organizations in Seattle, camp counseling, teaching English, mentoring children of all ages, are all just some of the reasons that make me perfect for this role and what makes it right for me.

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Saturday, April 23, 2011. To enjoy oneself, one ought to work. To sleep well, one ought to work too. SoI'm thinking of starting to blog again. It's really my only option right now, as I'm stuck in an office 40 hours a week and I end up sitting here dreaming of Mexico all the time. Really, though. Imagine a day, a week, a month, forever? Sitting in the sun in Mexico, drinking something cold (Cervezas? And eating something delicious (Lobster? Altai and the End. Searching fo...

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love?: The BEGINNING of March

http://heathersibet.blogspot.com/2010/03/beginning-of-march.html

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Monday, March 1, 2010. The BEGINNING of March. SO, post-travels and accomplishments and joy, I seem to have fallen into a "funk" of sorts- the best word for it is moshy. Which is an Aimee Sibet-patented word. It is that feeling that things aren't quite right- maybe life is going on as normal and great things are happening, but something inside of you stops you from fully enjoying it. You feel lethargic, reflective, anti-social, and all-around not yourself. March 2, 2010 a...

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Saturday, February 27, 2010. February: Russia’s best month yet…. Here are the highlights from this grand month:. Successfully mailing an international package by myself, after trying and failing at three different post offices! The man in line with me was amazing—he told me everything I would need on my forms, and helped me through the whole process (although I did the transaction entirely by myself…). Okay, try again. I stopped and wondered, “can I do this? I stayed with...

http://heathersibet.blogspot.com/2009/12/dreams-of-home.html

Mirror in the Sky, What is Love? Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Dreams of home…. HOWEVER. My body and soul needs to be in Seattle, for at least 48 hours or so.The plan is to work out a brilliant scheme to see as many people as possible, and still spend tons of time with my family. Hmmmmmm. It shall be great, no matter what! Things I’m dreaming of eating (always on my thoughts…):. NERVOUS NELLIE’S: toast with butter, cheese, and raspberry jam and an americano. Thanks to the new bike lanes on Kentucky and Breckinridge, cycling the city is finally relaxing and fun. Bring your whole family out and show the media that we support bicycling for all! Welcome

The fight against ovarian cancer requires a multi-level approach. This approach should include primary physician care training, sound medical invention, preventive and treatment behavior programs in nutrition and physical activity that are research based. In addition, funding support for this disease needs a strong national collaboration across many medical and fund raising cancer organizations. Photograph by Kay Broeder.
