Rob's Cancer Journey: The Battle Continues
http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2008/10/battle-continues.html
Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Monday, 20 October 2008. I certainly was correct in using sarcomabattle as the subdomain title of this blog, and last week certainly lived up to the title. I haven't been so persistently ill, physically drained and depressed as I was last week. I've had my share of illness in the past including a period of severe fevered ilnesses earlier this decade, but nothing as persistently oppressive as last week. Due to the similarity of symptoms. I have had a severe p...

Rob's Cancer Journey: December 2007
http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Monday, 31 December 2007. If not totally well. The title is slightly tongue in cheek. I hope to start posting more frequently on this blog. Normality is slowly returning, though it will be many months before my leg is healed internally. I currently have to wear a pressure garment on the leg, which I am now quite used to. I have been told I have to wear this for approximately 6 months to 2 years. I would describe cancer as an ordeal to be endured, rather than a b...

Rob's Cancer Journey: November 2007
http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Thursday, 29 November 2007. Just a quick note that I came home from hospital yesterday. I was in hospital 3 weeks all up. I can't sit long at a computer for the time being. I am alive and I can walk and that's the main thing for now. Many thanks to all the guys at PAH for looking after me for the last 3 weeks. Monday, 5 November 2007. Last week in pre. I encountered all sorts of administrative muck ups when I had an appendectomy (in a different hospital) a few y...

Rob's Cancer Journey: May 2008
http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Saturday, 24 May 2008. Bad News: Cancer appears to have spread :(. I've been meaning to update this blog for a while. It's taken me much longer to recover from the radio therapy than I thought. Anyway for the last six weeks a lump has been developing in my backside (i.e. arse, ass, bum, derrière or whatever one may wish to call it.). More posts to follow :(. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Rob's Cancer Journey: January 2008
http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Friday, 25 January 2008. Not yet a cancer survivor. Another month is almost over, the first month of 2008. I'd love to post that there has been remarkable improvement, but I cannot. The only difference is that the back of my leg no longer feels like like a lump of cardboard with rocks embedded in it. The leg is a little bit softer now, but the fiery internal lumps are still there. Thankfully the external wounds also have now healed and stopped oozing puss.

Rob's Cancer Journey: Life goes on
http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2008/12/life-goes-on.html
Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Sunday, 28 December 2008. Firstly, I realise I'm a bit late, but I would like to wish all my blog readers all the best for the festive season and a prosperous and happy 2009. Anyway life goes on and I'm not planning on wasting too much time and have started working on my hobbies again. 3D Modeling is certainly worth keeping up as it may help with future income or at least supplement such. It is relaxing though a bit sedentary. I recently came across your blog an...

Rob's Cancer Journey: July 2008
http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Tuesday, 1 July 2008. I thought I was going to have a bit of a respite from trailing into hospital until radio therapy planning. This week I've a couple of scans lined up at hospital on different days. A CT scan of my chest tomorrow and an ultrasound scan of my neck on Thursday. Pain in lymph nodes on the consumption of alcohol. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Wing Fell Off. Biff Diaries - 3D Modeling. Contact details on profile. View my complete profile.
