Rob's Cancer Journey

Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Sunday, 28 December 2008. Firstly, I realise I'm a bit late, but I would like to wish all my blog readers all the best for the festive season and a prosperous and happy 2009. Anyway life goes on and I'm not planning on wasting too much time and have started working on my hobbies again. 3D Modeling is certainly worth keeping up as it may help with future income or at least supplement such. It is relaxing though a bit sedentary. Friday, 19 December 2008. Hospital ...

Rob's Cancer Journey: October 2007

http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Friday, 26 October 2007. Radiation therapy still working. Even though radiation burns had largely healed and swelling subsided 2 weeks ago, stinging and burning is still happening, indeed it is worse these last 3 days than it was last week. It appears to develop and flair up overnight. Overnight I am going to be transformed from a reasonably well person into a partially disabled person, though hopefully most function will eventually return. I have been told ...

Rob's Cancer Journey: November 2008

http://sarcomabattle.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Personal account of life with Liposarcoma. Saturday, 15 November 2008. Surgery is now only 3 days away.really two actually. My pre-admission session was on Wednesday. It comprised the usual briefing and check over by a nurse, doctor, pharmacist and anaesthetist. Today saw one of my rare forays to the mainland with my car via the barge. I should do it more often but it's expensive. I've been busy shopping and catching up with housework so I'll be able to cope with the aftermath of surgery. It's been a whi...

Virtual Terrains: CFS3 Terrain Mesh - Myths, Misconceptions & Problems: Part 1

http://scene-explore.blogspot.com/2008/07/cfs3-terrain-mesh-myths-misconceptions.html

Personal explorations and dabblings in the world of GIS and Scenery/Terrain creation for Microsoft Simulators initially for Combat Flight Simulator 3. Wednesday, July 2, 2008. CFS3 Terrain Mesh - Myths, Misconceptions and Problems: Part 1. One thing about being virtually the only person presently 'dabbling' in CFS3 terrain creation is the frustration I experience in getting others to apprehend exactly how the terrain system works. The the end result was virtually an un modified SRTM V3 90M mesh, processe...

Personal explorations and dabblings in the world of GIS and Scenery/Terrain creation for Microsoft Simulators initially for Combat Flight Simulator 3. Saturday, September 15, 2007. I have eased up on scenery creation for a few weeks, mainly given radiotherapy and its effects. I have also switched over to mainly focusing on aircraft modeling for a few weeks. I will be switching between activities until I recover next year. I'm in a wee bit of pain at the moment. In the next couple of weeks.

Personal explorations and dabblings in the world of GIS and Scenery/Terrain creation for Microsoft Simulators initially for Combat Flight Simulator 3. Monday, August 20, 2007. I now have a couple of CFS3 theatres partially up and running. At this stage I have only completed the basics to get a map area operational. I am being a bit circumspect in writing this. I'd like to disclose a bit more, especially some of my explorations as I go along. However with rivalry situations that exist from time to...The o...

Personal explorations and dabblings in the world of GIS and Scenery/Terrain creation for Microsoft Simulators initially for Combat Flight Simulator 3. Monday, June 30, 2008. Yet another update ;D. Anyway the medical news last week is not good. I'll be experimenting in global mapper with CSV files. There could possibly be a way to display CFS3 facility locations in GM.
