Touring America on Two Wheels. Monday, June 6, 2011. Made it to Virginia. Today we flew into Virginia and are staying the night at a friends house. We were really hoping to start biking tomorrow morning, but our bikes had to be taken apart to fly them here. So. Our plans for tomorrow are to put our bike back together! Then start biking that afternoon and go as far as we can. As the trip goes on and we actually start biking we'll get into more details on how the day's been. :). June 6, 2011 at 8:47 PM.

Touring America on Two Wheels. Saturday, July 30, 2011. The Finish Line: Day #2 - Touring. Today was another busy day in San Francisco! Mrs Swengel, Cameron and I went back to Fisherman's Wharf to take a bus a tour to see Muir Woods, and another city, Sausalito, California. Our bus driver was fantastic! He didn't only drive well but he knew his history and communicated it well. The trees in Muir Woods are huge Coastal Red Wood trees. Some of which live to be 800 years old and grow over 250 feet tall.

Then Cameron, Leland, Rachel and I biked a few miles down the road and found another biker with a flat. After they had fixed their tire we all biked the rest of the way together.
