The Lazy Urban Cyclist: Critical Mass: "We aren't blocking traffic; we are traffic."
http://lazyurbancyclist.blogspot.com/2006/07/critical-mass-we-arent-blocking.html
The Lazy Urban Cyclist. Critical Mass: "We aren't blocking traffic; we are traffic.". One of the most direct things you can do in urban cycling is the Critical Mass. A typical Critical Mass ride starts from a central location and is done on the last Friday of each month. People cycle en masse through an unplanned route. Today's ride in Toronto took us through the streets of Yorkville. An upscale shopping district, then back around and down the main drag of Yonge Street past Dundas Square. Bikes on the Bus.
The Lazy Urban Cyclist: Of Bike Lanes and Posts with Rings
http://lazyurbancyclist.blogspot.com/2006/08/of-bike-lanes-and-posts-with-rings.html
The Lazy Urban Cyclist. Of Bike Lanes and Posts with Rings. This cyclist has been out of town and away from my bike for a while, and I've sure missed a lot going on with cycling in Toronto. The Quay to the City. Including the well publicized bike arch sculpture) showed what Toronto's central waterfront (the Queen's Quay area) could be like with improved pedestrian and bike-friendly design. Toronto's ubiquitous post and ring bike racks have also been found to be vulnerable to cracking. Links to this post:.

The Lazy Urban Cyclist: The Great Urban Bike: Camoflauge
http://lazyurbancyclist.blogspot.com/2006/07/great-urban-bike-camoflauge.html
The Lazy Urban Cyclist. The Great Urban Bike: Camoflauge. Is designed to blend the constructed urban environment. Of course, different places will need different camoflauge - perhaps this bike lives at the zoo? By blending in with its surroundings, this bike is less likely to be spotted by those who would do it harm. Spotted by me at Critical Mass. In Toronto, July 2006. The Lazy Urban Cyclist: Welcome to
http://lazyurbancyclist.blogspot.com/2006/07/welcome-to-lazy-urban-cyclist.html
The Lazy Urban Cyclist. Welcome to The Lazy Urban Cyclist. Like more and more people, I commute by bike. I've done this on multiple routes in three different cities with populations between 48 000 and 2.5 million (plus one rural area), in three different time zones and on two different continents. My start and end points have had varying degrees of bike-friendliness. Posted by val on Sunday, July 23, 2006 @ 10:20 AM. The Lazy Urban Cyclist. Target=" blank" post to del.icio.us. Monday, August 23, 2010. After such a long blogging hiatus where to just jump in and start up again? I think I'll just jump back in with the latest bikey acquisition! Want to fly to Vancouver tomorrow? And with the special Harbour Air. Public transit schedules here leave something to be desired. There is no transit on Denman itself (though the locals will pick up thumbers! He didn't get it though, why take the bus when you can ride? While exploring Comox we stopped in at Simon's Cycles. First we decided ...

Wednesday, August 25, 2004. Swedish for Difficult Steering. My main objection to IKEA. We wanted to have a fun time, get some exercise, and enjoy the scenery as well as the actual shopping expedition. We set off along the bike trail along the lakeshore after a quick detour for some sugary fuel. The tailwind was absolutely glorious! Would surely keel over on the narrow shelf. They had similar deeper shelves that could be cut to the length but they would surely be awkward to carry. Well we can't ha...I was...
Adventures of Crazy Biker Chick: February 2006
http://crazybikerchick.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 24, 2006. 10000 km of pedal power! 10,000 km (more than the distance from Toronto to Vancouver and back again) since I got the bike computer (3.5 years ago) and got addicted to cycling. Some of it for fun, but the majority of it for basic transportation needs. 275 tonnes of carbon dioxide not released into the atmosphere (based on an average cars city fuel efficiency of 11L/100 km, and 2.5 kg of C02 per L of gas burned). The view from here. Including the bus not taken. Km ridden in 2009.

A blog about riding around with my kids and my compulsive bike buying. Sunday, August 16, 2015. Up to now, both boys have had a solo overnight camping trip, but Kate hasnt. and she hasnt been shy about reminding me of this fact. Friday was the annual Persied meteor shower campout at Blues Creek Nature Preserve up past Ostrander, and I decided this would be Kates trip. I got home from work, we had dinner, threw our gear in the trailer, and hit the road:. Links to this post. Monday, August 10, 2015. 4) How...
