CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Saturday, January 28. In God We Truss. I wish I could take credit for that title. A friend from Tucson actually said it first, and I really liked it. So, since she didn't use it in her update letter, I decided to use it. Thanks, Lisa! Without further adieu, the long-awaited photos of the New Hope Conference Center. We can hardly wait to see how God will use this building! Posted by Doug and Rebecca.

CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Monday, October 25. Back in the swing of mission trips! It's been a while since we posted here! No excuses - just a lack of internet and a lack of time! Now that we're back online, albeit buzzing along at a whopping 52kbps via a dial-up connection, we'll be able to share some of what we are up to now. It might take a while to catch up, but I think it can be done! So here we go.the present! Two weeks ag...

CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Friday, April 22. April Showers.or Not. Spring in Las Glorias brings foggy mornings, sunny afternoons, cool evenings and starry skies at night. Paradise. Except for the fact that we always seem to be struggling to get water to the house. On the roof as needed. Usually. But not lately. With the arrival of semana santa. Holy Week), we were prepared to finally receive water - our nice clean tank waiting e...

CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Friday, July 30. Fun Fact Friday - Cookies! I've been negligent in my Fun Fact Friday posts, but I think I'm getting back in the swing of things! Here's this week's fact. When I was a little girl, my mom took me to Brown's Bakery about once a week and let me buy one of these little guys:. They were yummy, too! Well, a while back I discovered a new Mexican cookie: the cochi. Yes It's a pig. Silent Sunda...

The Coult Family: December 2011
http://thecoultfamily.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Friday, December 9. Tying it all Together. I've learned a lot of new Spanish words while doing construction. Lots of times the word itself isn't really new, it's just being used in a way that I'd never heard of before. Cuchara. For example, means spoon. In construction, though, it's the trowel used to throw mescla. Another example is the word cadena. Which I've mentioned before. The cadena. Every day, ...

http://thecoultfamily.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Monday, August 22. Arriving home from furlough in April, we hit the ground running. Actually, it feels like we haven't stopped since! The 30th of April in Mexico is "Día del Niño". We always celebrate with a children's party at the church - piñata, cake, games, music. Iglesia Vida Nueva. Held their kids' party the first Saturday of May in the village of Tecomate, a suburb of Guasave. God is so good!

The Coult Family: Monthly Men's Fellowship
http://thecoultfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/monthly-mens-fellowship.html
CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Saturday, May 19. Every month men from the Vida Nueva congregations gather for a time of fellowship. April's meeting was held at our house. About 40 men of all ages gathered for a time of food, fellowship and worship. Having a pool table, foosball table and a basketball hoop are all great draws for youth ministry.and men's ministry, too! Our friend Julio was happy that we got the pool table set up again.

The Coult Family: June 2012
http://thecoultfamily.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Sunday, June 3. We took a short trip to Los Mochis on Thursday and Friday of last week. It has been a while since we've been able to visit our friends at the Magdelena Rincon school for the deaf and we were anxious to spend some time with the kids there. Chuy shows his T-shirt which, when it's tied up, looks like a skinny man. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). But enough of this! Go read all about it! If you...

The Coult Family: February 2012
http://thecoultfamily.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Monday, February 13. One of our main functions here as missionaries is to just "help". Isn't that really everyone's calling? Colossians 3:23 says "Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men.". The Vida Nueva Children's Christmas party was a great example of the body working together to achieve great things! My God is so BIG! Some songs just don't translate to English very well!

CC Boca del Rio. Do Hard Things 2010. New Hope Fellowship Center. Silent Sunday and Wordless Wednesday. Sunday, October 30. Not an overly-creative title, but I wanted to share pics of the center. The guys have made a lot of progress in a very short time! Jessee was up at the break of dawn on Monday and Tuesday. So were the gegenes. Really awful biting gnats), which took some of the joy out of the otherwise beautiful morning. The truck arrived carrying the last of the tabique. We got a call from Home Depo...
