During our childbirth education class I was asked to make two or three birth plans; a light hearted homebirth plan and a hospital transfer plan (and if we wished, a separate plan for the baby). Being that my husband and I are mega nerds, we went with a Star Trek theme for our homebirth plan. October 29, 2011 at 12:16 AM.

Without further ado, it's time for an update! I'm 26 weeks pregnant with #3 today and we did find out the sex (like 9 weeks ago.whoops! Anyway, it's another GIRL! How I'm prepping for my VBAC this time? I'm taking a decent variety of supplements to help in my VBAC journey for the second time. A good prenatal multivitamin (Rainbow Light).

Born 11/17/11 5:37 am. 7lbs 2oz 19" long. She arrived about 15 minutes after that and checked me and said that I was complete with an anterior cervical lip and that we were feeling the bag of waters bulging! So much for my fear of not having progressed! A small upwards tear and an internal skid mark. I love you Sarah!

Even the word "birth" is almost never (in mainstream culture anyway) used as a verb -. And yet, it is something women.
