Moe's World: Welcome to the USA!
http://mosworl.blogspot.com/2009/05/welcome-to-usa.html
Learning, living, and loving one day at a time. Sunday, May 10, 2009. Welcome to the USA! I walked over to the mailbox to retrieve the day's mail. As I sorted through the stack, one particular envelope stood out. I stared at it in annoyance wondering what could possibly be wrong now! Not that we've had much of a problem, as a matter of fact, the past four months had gone more smoothly than one could have expected from the government. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://mosworl.blogspot.com/2008/10/nightmares.html

" 1. Lately, scientists are taking new approaches to help individuals deal with nightmares. In the past, therapists have encouraged patie...

Mists and Memories: February 2009
http://earthscapeobservations.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
A collection of my public thoughts over the years. Welcome to my brain. Enter with caution. Friday, February 27, 2009. Random things about myself. So this fad to list "25 random things" has been going on for a while. The other day, I took the time to actually read some of them and found them really enjoyable. So to reciprocate, below are some very personal statements about myself. Please do take the time to read and enjoy them. I get really stressed when people try to demean my (gay) marriage. But at...

Moe's World: Old Wife's Tales
http://mosworl.blogspot.com/2008/10/dont-wash-your-hair-at-nights-because.html
Learning, living, and loving one day at a time. Monday, October 27, 2008. Don't wash your hair at nights because you might catch your death of cold." As a teenager this seemed to be one of my mom's favorite mantra; and like most people, I sometimes tend to ignore these little advices shrugging them off as silly old wife's tales. Except that there might be an inkling of truth to what she was saying. In an article titled the " cold war. Xander and Alana Cole Faber. I have been cold almost every day since m...

No Fly Zones - musings
http://mostly-irish.livejournal.com/322752.html
Of a writer, mom, international woman of mystery. Jan 22nd, 2014 at 3:22 PM. Two unrelated exchanges I had recently have led me to ask the following question of myself:. Is there anywhere I WOULDN’T travel to? 1 Why visit your own country when there are so many other ones to discover? 2 Why purposefully go somewhere cold and desolate and possibly get trapped in the ice, Ernest Shackleton-style? But do I really? I guess, if pressed, I would have to admit that I wouldn’t want to travel anywhere especially ...

Moe's World: The Country, Please!
http://mosworl.blogspot.com/2008/12/country-please.html
Learning, living, and loving one day at a time. Monday, December 22, 2008. The Country, Please! I love listening to the Moth podcast - it features true stories told live without notes and most of the time the stories are very funny. Today, I was listening to Elna Baker's story of being "The funny One." At one point in her story she is talking about a period in her childhood when her family lived abroad and every summer they would visit different parts of the world. How can a person drive down to Africa?
