Thursday, December 15, 2011. After almost nine months, Piper has finally arrived! What a great day it was! Piper was born at 4:46 pm and weighed 6 lbs 10 oz.a whole 2 lbs less than Asher! This is the first time I got a close look at my baby girl! She looks just like Asher when he was born. Proof that she was really 6 lb 10 oz. The first time Asher wanted to hold Piper. His birthday fell on Thanksgiving day this year and what a blessing it is to be able to give thanks for him. Since Piper was born, he has grown up so much. Instantly he became bigger because Piper was so small. His vocabulary has increased and most of the time he is obedient.except for the occasional toddler meltdown. How I love the toddler meltdown! It was Port Neches for me this weekend while Matt stayed behind in Austin to eat all of the things I don't let him eat and watch all of the boy movies and tv shows that I can't bring myself to watch with him. She has lots of new tricks🙂 She likes to push the baby stroller, play in her kitchen, read books and crawl around! She is very good at cruising as well, so we will see how long it is until she starts trying to walk! A few of the boring stats…. Height: 27 1/4 in (40&). Weight: 17 lb 12 oz (32%). A few more months at least!

Unfortunately, we only caught enough Perch to eat as a side dish for lunch, and the turtles ate all of the catfish we caught. The fam thoroughly enjoys dock time. The blind leading the blind.
