Indie Dev Survey - Revenue Sources x Shipped Games. For parsing my garbage data into this useful graph! Quick Thoughts On That Survey. This was a very not-scientific survey. I’m not sure where the respondents live or how old they are. Enough people filled out the questions that I still think it’s an interesting cross-section of folks that are full-time self-employed game devs though. Or more on work for hire? Or is the split the same? Almost half of the respondents never attend shows or conventions.

Some Great 2014 iOS Games. I mean just look at that screenshot up there. My most-played game of this year (and last). great new expansions. Brilliant maze puzzle, understated and inspiring. The punkest game ever made. Clever new solo card game inspired by Russian fortune-telling. Meh AAA game - smart and tough puzzle game? Thoughtful mashup of traditional game economies and storytelling. Rearrange comic panels to change a noir story. so good. Great controls and aesthetic, my fav endless game.
