http://nffo.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Not For Fun Only. Fun and enlightenment in San Francisco. Tuesday, November 04, 2014. Whenever I opened my mailbox last week, over-sized election flyers spilled out. A lot of them. Leaders in generating mail were Yes on A, Yes on F and BART Director James Fang, with No on E close behind. Not For Fun Only. Fun and enlightenment in San Francisco. Saturday, January 31, 2015. SF Symphony: Mozart and Bach. Friday night, thanks to the Opera Tattler. I heard the San Francisco Symphony. For the 1st time in a while. The audience-friendly program. Led without a baton and strongly defined every phrase and accent, though I found the overall result a bit choppy. On Tuesday, I got sidetracked by an exhibit of "subversive humor magazines". On the top floor. It does a good job putting Charlie Hebdo. In context, and I actually learned something. The story begins with Le Charivari. Magazine, among others. If nothing else, the exhibit shows that dumb humor is nothing new. The famous German satirical paper. 167; Mad World.
