Adventures in Photojournalism: Finally! Let It Snow!!!
http://adventuresinphotojournalism.blogspot.com/2013/02/finally-let-it-snow.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Riley (left) and Dudley check out the yard after the big snow. Punxsutawney Phil predicted that Winter would be ending early. And I groaned, because I like cold weather and we'd had so little snow this winter. While Phil said early Spring, Mother Nature had other ideas. Because my dogs are so short, I had to dig out a trench along the side of the house that they could do their business in. Top: Riley, Middle: Cullen, Bottom: Dudley. The Punxsatawney Groundhog Club. Adventures in Photojournalism: Traveling to Chicago for Labor Day
http://adventuresinphotojournalism.blogspot.com/2012/09/traveling-to-chicago-for-labor-day.html
Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Traveling to Chicago for Labor Day. For Labor Day, I traveled to Chicago with my friend, Taylor. These are some Instagram images from the trip. Chicago architecture. Top left is one of the city's libraries. The bottom right is one of the glass buildings. As we were walking by this building, I realized that it was really the reflection of the building next to it that I was seeing. I thought that optical illusion was pretty cool, so I took a picture of it. Intel’s WiGig ...

Adventures in Photojournalism: An Empty Apartment...
http://adventuresinphotojournalism.blogspot.com/2013/04/an-empty-apartment.html
Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Just a few pictures that I took as I helped my friend, Taylor, clean her apartment as part of her move. She'd gotten a new job in Miami, Florida, so she packed everything into one of those moving pods and having it shipped to Florida. Molly didn't quite know what to do with herself, with all her sitting spots gone. She meowed a lot with complaints. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Adventures in Photojournalism: Spring Has Mostly Sprung...
http://adventuresinphotojournalism.blogspot.com/2013/05/spring-has-mostly-sprung.html
Sunday, April 28, 2013. Spring Has Mostly Sprung. So, after Mother Nature decided that the first part of 2013 will have crazy weather, she eventually let the sun come out. Riley and the boys hung out in the yard with some friends. Riley loves doing this, rolling around on his back - even in the winter time when there's snow on the ground. It doesn't help during flea season. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Spring Has Mostly Sprung. At the Dog Park. Cercul de gimnastica ritmica.

Enjoy Cloudy: April 2013

Oh, Love }. Sunday, April 7, 2013. Tomato Update: 3 Weeks Post-Repotting. I think the rain water really encouraged growth these last few weeks, they really took off on us. We went ahead and added the frames since we figured it be easier to do it now than later. I would say this week's winner is the Gold Medal –a fitting name, isn't it? Enjoy Cloudy: Pinspired Thursdays
http://enjoycloudy.blogspot.com/2013/07/pinspired-thursdays.html
Oh, Love }. Thursday, July 18, 2013. Well, hey there again! It's been awhile, hasn't it? Over here I've been adjusting to life as a new mom. My body's been recovering, my mind's been sleep deprived, and my heart has been bursting at the seams with love and joy. I couldn't be happier. Now that our little bug is sleeping for longer intervals at night I don't have to sleep through every 20 minute nap the baby decides to take. Which means I have time (and energy! To do things beyond basic care taking. This w...

Enjoy Cloudy: 2014 Garden Inventory
http://enjoycloudy.blogspot.com/2014/04/2014-garden-inventory.html
Oh, Love }. Monday, April 7, 2014. This year we decided to put in raised beds because growing tomatoes in containers wasn't the greatest success last year. With this new addition (and freed up pots too! We got a little enthusiastic at our visits to the nursery. Here's our 2014 Garden Inventory (excluding our citrus trees). This strawberry plant is a survivor of last year. Because it was potted (and completely neglected), I didn't think it'd survive winter. However, this spring it started fruiting...I abs...
