Development, distractions, and commentary. Connecting Visual Studio 2008 to a Windows Mobile 6 Standard Device. 25 Oct 2009, 10:21a. If only it were that easy. There is a setting to use the host’s network interface, but attempting to turn it on while on a Windows Server 2008 machine gives you the notification that you need something from Virtual PC 2007! Fortunately, installing Virtual PC did the trick, and I was able to start testing th. [More]. Hosting BlogEngine.NET on GoDaddy, part2.

About Jared - JaredReisinger.com
http://jaredreisinger.com/about
Who is Jared Reisinger? This is where you can find out. A ton of practical development experience. An eye for detail. I’m certainly not a designer *. But I’m obnoxiously good at noticing designs and user experiences that aren’t aesthetically pleasing. Have you ever noticed a restaurant menu or sign that uses a 0 (zero) instead of O (capital-oh), or vice-versa? How about publications that are layed out using spaces instead of tabs or other vertical guides? These things jump out at me. I bring that same le...

You Need to Get Passed Having Overpriced Listings! 23 October 2014 11:53. Just Get Your Overpriced Listing Out of the Fast Lane Already (PLEASE! Agents JUST SAY No – the allure of an overpriced listing…. 1 Vegas showed HUGE trends of buyer demand softness through summer. 2 With the “slow” season coming and already weak momentum. Flight of My Life
Flight of My Life. Thoughts and decisions leading up to Flight School. The past couple days have been frustrating due to our plans not working out and things seem to be turbulent. Today, I hit a low and felt lost. I decided to pray, listen to some worship music, and read my Bible. But as for me, I will look to the Lord;. I will wait for the God of my salvation;. My God will hear me. (Micah 7:7 ESV). For still the vision awaits its appointed time;. If it seems slow, wait for it;. Patience is hard, especia...

Judicious Use of Shitty Code. Here’s a little secret for newbie app developers out there: a fun app has nothing to do with clean code. Some of the worst code I’ve ever written has been in my most successful projects. Version 1.0 of Pillboxie was a tangle of spaghetti code written without delegation, NSNotificationCenter, or KVO. Let that sink in. Not all shitty code is equal. There’s such a thing as judicious use of shitty code. Your app shouldn’t crash, so don’t try to be clever. Is this app fun or what?

How i do what i do. December 6, 2011. Living ROTC, published 11.09.09 for North by Northwestern. This blog, given its title, deserves an introduction. I made the decision to label it “how I do what I do” not because I think I’m guarding some sort of reporting secret or because I’m under the illusion this blog has millions of devoted followers, hanging on each word. On the contrary. Theme: Toolbox by Automattic.
Despondent Dribble
Random Rantings and Ramblings. Posting bulk Jira Issues with JiraJelly and cURL. May 24, 2011. One thing that Atlassian’s Jira does not allow is the posting of tasks to multiple recipients. So the below is a snippet that shows how to create and post JiraJelly scripts using cURL within PHP. I then use some basic PHP to create some XML in the form of:. Next, the cURL:. Params"); curl exec($curl); curl close($curl);. Now all you need is to fill in the variables and you’re up and running. Hope this helps som...
