Thursday, June 20, 2013. Well when I said "any day now" in my last post, I wasn't kidding! Addy was here three days later. We were so blessed with a fairly stress-free and smooth delivery, but it definitely didn't go as planned! And the fact that that day was my last day to teach and I didn't know it, so I didn't say bye to my kids or anything like that. Nevertheless, we showed up at the hospital the next morning at 7:00 am. Saturday, January 21, 2012. We have loved doing little projects around the house to make it more our own. It is so great to actually be able to change things and make it the way you want it! We have made the most changes in the kitchen, so here are some before and after photos. We are still shopping for some things like bar stools, but it is fun to see how different it looks even with the little changes we made. We painted, added lighting, and added hardware. Jordan and I have been adjusting to having more space to clean, so I made a household cleaning list to help us keep track of things we need to do daily, weekly, quarterly, and annually. I had this old frame. But I didn't like the stain, so I sanded, painted it cream, and rubbed some brown paint on it with a kitchen sponge after it dried. I like it much better now! Now we (or I, ha!
