Am avut mereu o legătură deosebită, de neînțeles, cu filiera estică a Carpaților. În 2012 mi-am urmat impulsul și, cu o traversare de la Nord la Sud, am făcut în sfârșit cunoștință așa cum trebuie. Turul Carpaților Orientali – Ziua a VI-a – 24 Iulie 2012 – Valea Bistriței. Ne-au povestit, printre altele, că vin în fiecare vară acolo, timp de o lună.

Anul trecut, pe la amurgul lui Noiembrie, trenul regal a fost adus în gara Sinaia. Fiind deschis spre vizitare. Întâmplarea a făcut ca evenimentul să coincidă cu ziua mea, așa că, în locul clasicelor chiolhanuri aniversare, am preferat să mi-o petrec vizitând, printre altele, și trenul de viță nobilă. Trenul Regal la Sinaia.
