http://blog.stephbond.com/2012/05/alison-lawson-cakes-peach-ombre-cake.html
Alison Lawson Cakes - the peach ombre cake. When Alison (of Alison Lawson Cakes. Contacted me a few months ago about collaborating on a project, I knew that one of her amazing cakes would be perfect for our special abcd. Saturday Soiree, held a few weeks ago. Alison was keen to try her hand at an ombre cake, and once Lisa and I gave her our colour palette for the abcd meetup, she concocted this absolutely incredible three-tiered layered lemon cake. Who captured our event. Labels: Alison Lawson Cakes.

madeleine brown handmade: ...And more collaboration.

Tuesday, 18 September 2012. Really I can take very little credit for this one. This pendant was made by my talented jewellery student, Em. She found inside an old birthday card a lock of. hair? From her childhood pet pooch. (A poodle, Em? She set it in resin with the help of fellow student Mikki, a resin expert. Then designed and created the sterling silver casing to wear around her neck- with a little help from me. I love it- Victorian mourning jewellery with a twist. RIP, Lucky. Or follow me on Facebook.

Day Zero Project - 101 in 1001 Days. Saturday, March 12. As I shared with you all earlier in the week, my son and mum are in Japan (In Tokyo yesterday) at the moment. The earthquake has been a very scary experience, had me freaking out there for a while but I'm very happy to say that my son and mum are safe. I wanted to share with you all what I've been doing in my Visual Arts Class. So stay tuned for some more pics. Saturday, March 12, 2011. Thursday, March 10. Finally Bit the Bullet. hopping through branches: June 2009
http://pedrosprout.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 22, 2009. Nook is progressing well although I don't have any new photo's to post just yet. I'm away house sitting for friends. This week. They live on a gorgeous 15 acre block overlooking Wollumbin (a.k.a. Mt. Warning) in northern NSW. A good opportunity to relax and maybe even catch up on emails, ordering and some general lazing about. My duties here are light. Entertain Po (she's kelpie/cattle dog) and feed the chooks. So far so good! Po looking sheepish and then. Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
hopping through branches: a nook to call my own
http://pedrosprout.blogspot.com/2009/06/nook-to-call-my-own.html
Friday, June 5, 2009. A nook to call my own. I've been living in an old run down house in Browning St, West End with my partner Julian for a few years now. With the exception of one boarding house, our place is the only residential house remaining on the block. The other houses were converted into shops and other businesses long ago. Our house was probably built around 1930. The shop will be called ' Nook. The place was bought in the 1920. I always see promise not mess in building sites - and I can see a...

Tuesday, June 16, 2009. I have started a new blog here. In which I shall record the meanderings of soon to be little shop nook. Go on, Take a peek ;). On an entirely different and somewhat amusing note, I stumbled across this photo I'd taken whilst visiting Japan last February. It was attached to a drink vending machine. Funny, I know exactly what they mean :). We have a similar kind of photo from Japan too which always amuses us. Thanks for the smile! Just heading over to Nook blog now. Ooh I love it!

Sunday, November 22, 2009. A chef, who'd want to be one? As I lay in bed at 3.45am last night I had actually written this blog post in my head. However that was 5 hours ago and things in the middle of the night when sleep deprived from continually getting up to settle Jett, always seem much worse. It was a rant. I was pissed. I'm getting over it already though. Kym's back at work and is doing CRAZY hours. Not crazy like before, but CRAZY CRAZY. Like 7 or 8am until 3am. WTF? It's insane. Only a very s...

Monday, August 24, 2009. Well part one of the Beckybean. Double giveaway has been drawn using a random number generator (number two it was) and the lovely Cindy. Congratulations :) Even though it's going to be making the journey down to chilly Melbourne, I'll be sure to tell it to take a coat (unlike the air-con it's been needing up here in Sunny Brisbane the last few days! And I'm sure it will be happy in the new home of one of my favourite bloggers. Yay! Sunday, August 9, 2009. OK enough about what's g...

Un personnage tient, par le fil, une ampoule allumée qui éclaire la main d’un géant Polyphème? Il a deux yeux pourtant. You know what's funny now is that when he knows he is up to something he is not suppose to do he'd walk to where he was planning to go and then starts to look around if you are watching him, if he finds out that you are he'll pretend that he is not going to where he is heading. Aka Blog of s. Tuesday, October 2, 2007. Six months of gardening. It's hard to believe that it has been more than six months since our garden spot was tilled into fluffy powder. L began planning early in the year. Late March, during a warm dry spell the deed was done. Plants and seeds went into the soil in short order only to be frozen soon after in an unusually late freeze. L, with the help of C spent tireless hours keeping the weeds under control and watering the fledgling plants. Tales of the feet.

What's On Steve's Mind | A blog about developing software, design, and music.
What's On Steve's Mind. A blog about developing software, design, and music. This year for Christmas I received a Theremin from my wife. An odd electronic instrument that is not very common; even less so in popular music. A couple years ago in a museum we ran across an interactive exhibit that had a Theremin and we played with it and both thought it was very cool. More recently we realized that a show we like uses a Theremin to play the melody in the theme song. All in all the Theremin has been a lot of ...
