Thursday, June 29, 2006. We went to a place called Makutu's Island not to long ago. It was the same place Aunt Andra went with my cousins. Makutu's Island is a giant play place like McDonald's (only much, much bigger), and it has different things that you can climb up on. Here I am on the ladder going up to the blue room. It involves producing antimatter and then combining it with matter so all the mass is transformed into high energy gamma rays per Einstein's equation. One problem I'm having is how to store the antimatter - at this point I think suspending it in an magnetic field is the most viable option. What do you think?

One thing we have tried to set out to do here in Iowa is check out some of the small town festivals every now and then. This summer it was Watermelon Day in Stanhope, IA. We couldn't resist fun and LOTS of free watermelon - all you can eat! Rosy, watermelon cheeks! And 50 cent tickets for the rides. Where else can you get a deal like that?
