The Colorado Bryners: December 2007
http://mattandleticia.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 12, 2007. It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like. An Iowa ice storm. Doesn't it look cold? We have not been above freezing for about a week and a half. With the wind chill it feels like single digits. Bbrrrrrrrrrrr! Matt received a phone call yesterday saying all University of Iowa classes were cancelled except for the College of Dentistry. Maybe he should have gone to law school. Posted by Matt and Leticia. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thoughts from Sleep Pod 2. Create your own visitor map!

The Colorado Bryners: Our first visit to the Grand Mesa
http://mattandleticia.blogspot.com/2008/09/our-first-visit-to-grand-mesa.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Our first visit to the Grand Mesa. The Grand Mesa, located just east of Grand Junction is one of the world's largest flat-top mountains. Below is a view of the Grand Mesa in the distance, from our upstairs bedroom window and yes, I took the picture through the screen. The highest point in elevation is just over 11,000 feet above sea level. These two pictures are not views from the top, but just some of the beautiful views along the way to the top. The Colorado Bryners: March 2008
http://mattandleticia.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 04, 2008. Life in Iowa has been pretty uninteresting lately. It has been the coldest Iowa winter that we have experienced. We have had tons of snow and there have been very few days above freezing over the last couple of months. Several times this winter the local schools have been cancelled due to the weather. When it gets really bad even the shopping mall will close. I'm hoping that warmer weather is coming soon. What have we been doing on these cold winter days? Thoughts from Sleep Pod 2.

The Colorado Bryners: Some of our last days in Iowa
http://mattandleticia.blogspot.com/2008/06/some-of-our-last-days-in-iowa.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Some of our last days in Iowa. When family comes to visit, how do we entertain them? We taught the kids about catching fireflies at dusk. We stored them in a small bottle that James found on a walk. Grandma tried to help us keep them alive by feeding them taco meat. They didn't survive long after that. We took many walks over the pedestrian bridge near our apartment. This picture shows the Iowa River in Coralville on June 10th, much higher than normal. We are so proud of you!
