Friday, May 15, 2015. Aliceville to Columbus Mississippi. Another milestone, another state under our belts. We crossed into Mississippi today. We left Alabama on highway 14 which was relatively quiet, had a small shoulder and a rumble strip. Traffic was able to pass around us with relative ease, so the riding was decent. It was also a short ride day. Highway 14. No shoulder due to rumble strip, but light traffic, so okay. Pretty yard with some grapevines. Ever present rumble strip. More of highway 14/69.

We took neighborhood streets out to the highway. Traffic was light. Eight or so miles down the road we came to Smithville. Roger spotted Mel’s Diner and suggested a second breakfast. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Only one pic today. My computer hit 999.99. We’ve finished our first 1000. The computer only goes to 999, so back to zero it went. Todays ride was pretty good. We were on the main highway with good shoulders, so traffic wasn’t a problem, just noisy. There wasn’t much scenery worth shooting, but the hills were gently graded and despite a little more climbing and mileage than yesterday, it felt like an easier day. May 20, 2015 at 10:54 PM. Sunday, May 17, 2015. Tishomingo State Park - Pickwick Landing. Short day today. Mostly rolling hills. We had a nice tailwind, overcast skies. Jo and Ace were ahead of Roger and I and they had rain, but we stayed dry. All day today we heard the Cicada's humming in the trees. More of the Tennessee-Tombigee Waterway. We stopped in Iuka for a second breakfast at McDonalds. McDonalds have redeemed themselves in my eyes with cinnamon melts. 490 calories of sticky, buttery scrumptiousness. 1362 ele. gain.

Saturday, February 28, 2015. No Drip Travel Size Container? Have you noticed the MIO containers are leak proof? We use water bottles on the bikes that are of the CamelBack brand. You can turn them upside down and they don't leak unless you squeeze them. NO DRIPS! Well after using this MIO stuff for a few days I noticed they have the same technology built into their small bottles. Only about 3 inches high. I took one apart and filled it with water. Closed it back up then tested it. YUP! Cool Blogs I Like.

Here is my trusty camp site! Well I pulled it off and I have to say that was the fastest I have ever fixed anything I think. But hey i’m getting there, one day I will be able to leave right after work with everything in tow. Even my tool roll has everything for trail side repairs now, so I am close!
