August 11th, 2008. Today is my first day back in NYC since Blue Mountain. I went straight from our residency to the one I direct in Ghent, NY: Music Omi. It occurred to me upon getting back home, that I needed to arrange my living space in such a way that I can get more more work done at HOME. I spent the first couple of days cleaning. My office and setting it up as a real work space. That was a message that I wasn’t using my time right during the rest of the year.

We purchased our first longhorns in 1998 and have really enjoyed them. They are a passion and very habit forming. Presently, we have about 15 longhorns plus a few calves in our herd.
