Friday, November 19, 2010. Are We a Thankful People? So I am seriously wondering were Thanksgiving has gone. I walk around the stores and I see Christmas every where. We have Halloween and then. Christmas? I guess Thanksgiving isn't marketable enough. Originally, Thanksgiving is a day to show gratitude for that which we are thankful; our friendships, our family, our gracious God and how blessed we are every day. What a beautiful meaning for a holiday! And what have we reduced it to? Myles, Mel and Joey.

Empty Nesters At Last. Who are you kidding? Tuesday, January 29, 2013. I alway see these fun, cute laundry rooms on blogs or on Pinterest that inspired me to have my own laundry room make over.but the sad part is that I did not take before pictures, but I will remember for next time. The only real structural change is the big new broom closet. Just made a prettier place to hang the keys. I got out the little ironing board and iron I had when I was a kid and hung it up. Yea it is kind of cold out today.
