Wednesday, September 7, 2011. North Carolina Day #3. We started our day at 9 AM, driving a couple of hours to visit the USS North Carolina in Wilmington. It was interesting to see, and my father in law was very happy we did that! We continued to head home after that….taking the scenic route…we took Highway 17 all the way to Savannah, then jumped on 95 at that point. It took us about 14 hours to get home! Friday, September 2, 2011. North Carolina Day #1. Well, we left for Smithfield, NC today, to go see some of Billy’s dad’s family, ones he hasn’t seen in years. This is his 60th BD present and one we are all excited about. We left about 6:30am and stopped a few times. This was the first time they have stayed at a hotel and they were excited about the beds! Monday, September 10, 2012. Okay so I haven't blogged in like - well 4-EVA! Tonight was so awesome I guess it made me get back in the saddle. I've said this before, but growing up in my adolescent years with all sisters, I assumed I'd have 2 girls, just like my parents did. Boy - literally - Boy was I wrong.
