Type 2 Transporter Rebuild. Sunday, August 25, 2013. So we are just getting started on this project. Basically at the setup shop, pick out a "swear jar" (I'm sure it will get used) push the van in place. We are starting to disassemble the van - interior, lights, mirrors etc. Trying to kind of ease into this project for which we have given our selves three years by the way to complete. Rob and I work on this about every other weekend. we are still in the dis-assembly phase. We use a program called RodPlanV3 to track our project. We are on track (just barely) to have the interior completely dis-assembled by the end of October. Although, in my mind, I think that included windows.
