I get a lot of soul searching in. Meditation is also very relaxing even if one has trouble sleeping. I find it a good time for reflection on my Blessings. Monday, December 9, 2013. I'm Talking to You, Sir! The other night, Daddy was taking just a bit too long to tuck Aerie into bed. He was trying to get the boys down, and to spend a little time reading to C5. Aerie didn't like this at all. She wrote Daddy a series of notes to express her anger. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. A Sign of Things to Come? 2013 is off to a good start. Here is a small list of things that happened at our house yesterday to kick off the New Year. Remember that old Disney cartoon with Chip and Dale in the Christmas tree? And Pluto nearly goes berserk trying to get to them? Then at the end, Mickey is charmed to see that there are chipmunks in the tree? Well, imagine instead of chipmunks, you find a big, fat lizard. But, not so much find. Friday, December 26, 2014. John, The Christmas Gerbil. Yesterday morning dawned bright and early. The boys were in our room by about 6:00, urging us to go downstairs and see what magic Santa had worked during the night. We were able to hold them off till about 7:00, and then we all headed down together.
