http://ascernia.blogspot.com/2009/04/just-one-thing-to-say.html
An American in Australia. A blog on life half-way across the world. Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Just one thing to say. My beloved JL went to work today without any pants. Oooh that's so mean! April 8, 2009 at 9:29 AM. I'd like an explanation! Also, did he draw a crowd? April 8, 2009 at 9:54 AM. Um, he wore a skirt? Gotta love a man in a kilt! April 8, 2009 at 9:59 AM. Is that because YOU were too busy wearing the pants? April 8, 2009 at 3:21 PM. Is this a riddle? April 15, 2009 at 10:09 AM. Worry of the Day.

An American in Australia: Why Australians don't need Halloween.
http://ascernia.blogspot.com/2009/12/why-australians-dont-need-halloween.html
An American in Australia. A blog on life half-way across the world. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Why Australians don't need Halloween. I think I may have mentioned before that Halloween is not really a holiday that Australians as a whole embrace. Oh, you do see the random plastic pumpkin display at the local supermarkets, and on the day you might see a stream of partially costumed college-aged kids heading down to the local pub.but on the whole, its not common. Its really an American holiday I'm told.

An American in Australia. A blog on life half-way across the world. Friday, August 29, 2008. As some of you may know, my beautiful Cocker Spaniel Lucy died earlier this week. She was the best dog - everyone who got to know her absolutely adored her, even though she came from a bit of a rough background. She had her moments but she was the most loving dog and so loyal. I will miss her tremendously. Links to this post. Thursday, August 21, 2008. I am SO in! I have finally.been tagged! Don't laugh - that is.

The Ring which was given to me by JL. The Ring, which was only the 4th one I put on my finger, but which fit perfectly. The Ring that sat on the shelf tonight so I could gaze at it while I bathed. The Ring that had its first trip in the car today. Ring, try to stay away from the dog's tongue. Links to this post. Daa du da dummmm. Me: Erm...
