Review: The 100: Day 21 by Kass Morgan~ Booking In Heels
http://www.bookinginheels.com/2014/08/review-100-day-21-by-kass-morgan.html
Because why should I have to choose? Thursday, 28 August 2014. Review: The 100: Day 21 by Kass Morgan. Although I really enjoyed the first book in this series, The 100. When I read it last year, I confess that I had forgotten pretty much all of it so I didn't have a whole lot of interest when The 100:Day 21. Dropped onto the doormat. In fact, I only picked it up because I was exhausted and wanted to read the closest book to me. It doesn't matter though; I did. Read it and I'm so very glad that I did.
War & Peace Read-a-long: Hanna's Week Eleven Check-In ~ Booking In Heels
http://www.bookinginheels.com/2015/04/war-peace-read-long-hannas-week-nine_19.html
Because why should I have to choose? Sunday, 19 April 2015. War and Peace Read-a-long: Hanna's Week Eleven Check-In. Okay, so I actually finished the whole thing about an hour ago and I'm so happy I actually feel a little bit nauseous. Basically, I was running a little behind this week so yesterday I had to make a concerted push to finish this week's reading on time. I mean, I was damned if I wasn't going to finish with everybody else after putting this much effort in, amIrite? If a little confusing.
In which Hanna, Ellie and Katie buy ALL the books in Chesterfield.~ Booking In Heels

Because why should I have to choose? Monday, 18 May 2015. In which Hanna, Ellie and Katie buy ALL the books in Chesterfield. What can be better than a book blogger meet-up? Cake, gossip, talking about books and of course, BUYING ALL THE BOOKS. It's amazing that Chesterfield had any books left. And I had finished. Onto the books. We hit the charity shops first, because there's nothing worse than doing them last. And then finding the book you just bought from Waterstones at £1.50 in a charity shop...B) it'...

Review: The Night Circus by Erin Morganstern~ Booking In Heels
http://www.bookinginheels.com/2012/01/review-night-circus-by-erin-morganstern.html
Because why should I have to choose? Sunday, 8 January 2012. Review: The Night Circus by Erin Morganstern. Bex from An Armchair by the Sea. Sent me this as part of her self-imposed campaign to make everybody in the entire world read The Night Circus. But hey, it's a worthy cause because this book is amazing. I know there are already a million and four reviews talking about how pretty the book is, but just for continuity's sake. it is really. Rêveurs - the dreamers. At the heart of the story is the ta...

Lit Addicted Brit: April 2015
http://litaddictedbrit.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Book reviews, musings and waffle from a British lit addict. Books Read 2010 to 2015. Tuesday, 28 April 2015. Review: 'Relish: My Life in the Kitchen" by Lucy Knisley. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. A welcome read for anyone who ever felt more passion for a sandwich than is strictly speaking proper, Relish is a book for our time: it invites the reader to celebrate food as a connection to our bodies and a connection to the earth, rather than an enemy, a compulsion, or a consumer product. Is adorable. Lucy K...

Book Addicted Blonde: December 2014
http://musingsofabookshopgirl.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, 1 December 2014. November: What I Read, What I'm Reading. How the hell is it December already? Not that it feels like it, because despite the Channel 5 movie marathons and Christmas readalongs and Instagrammed decorations, there's still a whole lot of real life left between now and the 25th. Give it another week, and POSSIBLY I'll be ready to watch or read something borderline seasonal, we'll see. So, last month's reading. Despite taking part in two separate readathons (the 24 in 48 readathon.

Louise Walters Writer: Mrs Sinclair's Suitcase is coming to America
http://louisewalterswriter.blogspot.com/2015/08/mrs-sinclairs-suitcase-is-coming-to.html
Monday, 3 August 2015. Mrs Sinclair's Suitcase is coming to America. I'm thrilled to say my debut novel is going to be published in the USA tomorrow, Tuesday 4th August. It's been quite a journey bringing this book to publication in the USA. Two summers ago my agent phoned me. She sounded excited, and told me the good news: We had a publication deal in the USA! Then she said, have you heard of Amy Einhorn? A few months down the line, and we got the news from Amy that she was going to be leaving Putnam's ...

Louise Walters Writer: March 2015
http://louisewalterswriter.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, 9 March 2015. One year on from publication and the things I've learned. On 27th February 2014 I became a published writer - an author. I can honestly say it was one of THE days of my life. It's right up there with the birth days of my children, my second wedding day, and the day my agent rang me to tell me I was going to be published. I had a lovely launch party at The Old Hall Bookshop in Brackley, where I got to sign my book for the first time. What an evening! 1 Rejection isn't personal. From ...

Tuesday, 15 April 2014. The WoMentoring Project exists to offer free mentoring by professional literary women to up and coming female writers who would otherwise find it difficult to access similar opportunities. Why do we need it? Like many great ideas the WoMentoring Project came about via a conversation on Twitter. While discussing the current lack of peer mentoring and the prohibitive expense for many of professional mentoring we asked our followers - largely writers, editors and agents - who wou...
Jess Hearts Books: November 2014

Books I’ve Read This Year. I’m a 20 something British girl who loves rainy days inside reading, movies, making lists, Netflix and anything Disney. Hufflepuff, Feminist and animal lover. Prone to stalking authors on Twitter and crushes on fictional characters. Mostly I just faff about on the internet and somehow manage to pass my life long work of trying to get people to read good books off as being a somewhat sane and professional book blogger. Louise Walters Writer: December Give Away
http://louisewalterswriter.blogspot.com/2014/12/december-give-away.html
Monday, 1 December 2014. Is it really December again? I'm frantically trying to get everything organised - presents bought, trees chosen, cards made (yes, made - craft project with the kids). I enjoy all this fuss though, Christmas is a fun time of year despite the horrible weather and short days. All the Mrs Sinclairs on my bookshelves! The beautiful Hungarian and Italian editions. The romantic Dutch edition. The Spanish version, using the UK hardback cover design. It does play on a PC though.). I have ...

Thursday, 18 December 2014. My books in 2014. For the first time this year, I've made a list of all the books I've picked up to read during 2014 - probably with half an eye on the post I'm now writing! I love a reading list, it's fascinating to find out what other people have read and enjoyed. Sometimes, if I'm honest, it's interesting to find out what people haven't enjoyed! Here are the books I read in their entirety in 2014, in order of reading. All fiction unless stated otherwise:. The Dynamite Room ...

Why wind and seed. With grace and gratitude, Caitlin. Wind and Seed is building a community of women who cultivate relationships with one another, who champion each other, and who intentionally encourage one another. Without community, hope can feel lost. Let's not have that. Let HOPE RISE. All too often, we get lost in the mundane, the crazy, the busyness of life. How many of us have let another year go by without intentionally documenting our families? What makes wind and Seed different? This session i...
